Photo LA

There are many things that Los Angeles has in abundance, and one of those things are galleries. If you like looking at art, you will like Los Angeles. What Photo LA accomplishes is consolidating so many of the great galleries from around town (and even out of town) into one weekend event. They bring their best work to display, and it’s a good thing. Although I don’t declare myself to be a fine artist, I love experiencing art and it’s integral to the work I do and want to continue to do. So naturally, the worst part about Photo LA is leaving. Leaving behind the experience of looking at photos one after the next.

I have the cure.

A few years ago at a previous Photo LA event, I was first introduced to the Duncan Miller Gallery (http://www.duncanmillergallery.com/). To this day, it’s the only ‘newsletter’ I’ve ever signed up for that I look forward to seeing in my email inbox. Every day, I get photos sent to my email inbox by the Duncan Miller Gallery. Sure, there are other services out there that would be happy to flood your inbox with pictures, but DMG feels different. Just a few photos, hand picked, often featuring guest curators, and they’re all for sale. Maybe you would like it to?

Adios for now.
